Fifteen Eighty Four

Unlike the authors of this book you may not have access to high-tech, deep-sea technology, so your images may contain marine rocks or animals, in the sea or exposed on land. 

So send us your fabulous field photos for the chance to win a copy of this magnificent atlas and take an armchair dive into the abyss. We are eager to see your submissions!

Guidelines for submissions

Contestants can submit up to 3 images. Images should be in jpeg or tiff format. Please include your name, an explanatory caption (up to 50 words) and details of equipment/software used.

Deadline for submissions is Friday, May 15, 2015 extended to 30th June 2015!

By submitting your photos, you grant permission for them to be posted on the Cambridge University Press blog, Facebook, and Pinterest pages.

The winner will be contacted by email after the competition closes.

Prizes

The winner will receive a copy of Discovering the Deep: A Photographic Atlas of the Sea-Floor Atlas  and Ocean Crust. Each of the first two runners up will also receive a special prize.
