Jahan Chowdhury has 19 years of experience working as a climate and development professional. His work in over 50 countries ranges from mainstreaming climate in national development planning and budgeting processes, assessing aid effectiveness, designing public investment programs and national-level climate funds. He is currently working as the Director of Country Engagement for NDC Partnership where his primarily responsibility is to support countries to fast track their NDC implementation. He is also serving as the Investment Committee Chair of Rwanda’s Green Fund. In this role, he oversees the vetting of green investment proposals, originating from the public and private sector for financing from the fund.
