Dr Daniel Cook is the Head of English and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Dundee. He is the author and editor of numerous books on eighteenth- and nineteenth-century British and Irish literature, including a forthcoming edition of Gulliver's Travels and (with Nick Seager) The Cambridge Companion to Gulliver's Travels. After completing his PhD at Cambridge he was a research fellow on the Cambridge Edition of the Works of Jonathan Swift.
