Channel the Bard and Write an Original Play

To mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, we invite you to submit an original short play influenced by the Bard, his works, or his life in any way (imagine the possibilities!).

What does this mean? It means to get creative. Think of all the works that have been inspired by Shakespeare in the past and give us your best, funniest, most tragic, and bardiest work.

It can be the story of the goings-on of a high school production of Romeo and Juliet, or the story of Ophelia’s childhood or even a dog named Macbeth.

It’s all up to you!

Keep the plays under ten pages long.

Please submit all plays by April 20th to Diana at drissetto@cambridge.org.

Have fun and good luck!
